Staco supplied Bardec Ltd various panels for the Le Coie Apartments in Jersey. Staco supplied balustrade panels for the apartments but two mesh types had also been chosen for the communal garden area. These had been selected for a pergola and curved seating area. The pressed grating type RR is very good at blocking direct sunlight and as such lends itself to solar shading applications of all types. The open RR mesh provides a nice mixture of shade whilst still allowing light to penetrate, keeping an open feel.
Pressed gratings type RR 2-40/33x66 was used for the pergola and pressed gratings type RR 2-50/50x150 panels had been shaped and framed for the six panel seating area design. Staco only used three central cross bars so the end meshes varied in size across the panel. This design was chosen to emphasise the panels shape and purpose. Additionally our client didn't want a standard panel cut down with cross bars tapered into the edge bar. This resulted in a bespoke solar shading design that adds to the natural feel and flow of the garden area.
